KFC set new record

Postby ozzy72 » Thu May 12, 2005 1:18 pm

Yup KFC have done it again, this time its the record for the most complained about advert in the UK, over 1040 complaints thus far for an ad showing people talking and singing with their gob full of Zinger Chicken Salad :o
Honestly didn't anyone warn their advertising dept. that British people teach their children to never speak with their mouth full (pity Monica didn't learn that lesson ;D) :(
Such terrible bad manners ;D

For how little they make and how hard they work, I'm not surprised...

And by the way, I've worked in one (I know...)

I've avoided KFC ever since the time years ago that their spicy recipe had me huddled in the bathroom all night... I have a very high tolerance for spicy food, so God knows what it was that messed me up.:-/
Besides, their cole slaw sucks. ;D

Maybe it was the cole slaw? You know that it isn't good leaving it at room temp ;) LOL
I think the cole slaw is the best thing KFC has to offer!!! I often go there and buy just the slaw!

I like KFC, its got a much better range of options. If your not to hungry you can get something without wasting it but still feeling full. Mcdonalds is all about large food and the small stuff wouldn't fill up an ant

The advert in question is awful. It's a turn off whenever it comes on. I found it so annoying had hadn't even consider how bad mannered it is...

The only adverts which annoy me are adverts for women's

I haven't seen this ad but from the sound of it I bet it is much like those Hardee's Thick Burger ads that just show someone biting into them and all you  can hear is crunchy chewing sounds as the person stares at the burger in amazement. simply disgusting.

Which by the way after those ads appeared I have yet to gone back to Hardees, so I don't blame you ;)
