Fire Cowher.

That's what people said last year when the eagles lost. "Fire Reid, get rid of McNabb" These people now know they said these things in the heat of the moment and would have been sorry if that had indeed happened. Cowher is an excellent coach, keep him.

Bill Cowher has been in Pittsburgh longer than any other head coach has been at their current position.  He has been there for 13 years and in those years he had made 9 playoff appearances and even made it to the Super Bowl once (I think he has been in 4 AFC Championships in those 13 seasons, maybe even 5-not sure).  They are obvously happy with what he has done there-I don't think he is going anywhere.  He's a very good coach.

Time will tell, it is funny that way. Cowher is on the hot seat. The Trib and Post both are questioning that call, so I'm not the only nut out there. It is nice to have company, other than the voices in your head. :)

Cowher's Title Game record: at home 1 - 4,  0 -1 (the fog bowl in NE) away, 0-1 in the Super Bowl.

I do agree that it will be interesting to see what does happen in New England after the staff goes its seperate ways. We'll see how much was coaching, and how much is the players.

Ok, I'll get over this sooner or later. Time to hop into the Bell 206 and fly my cares away. :)
