They always seem to come in batches I've noticed. This must be the third or fourth this week :(
My condolences to all. :'(

If you would just stop trawling through that bloody BBC website we wouldn't hear of all these disasters and the world would be a happy place.... :P

The fourth accident in three days. Not a good week.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's true it's not been a good week. :(

PS. Ben. I agree with Woody. I daresay you could find plenty more like this if you care to look for them. If you carry on like this you'll end up severely depressed. Not good at your age or any age for that matter. Take note of what I told you in the other thread & cheer up a bit. ;)

Not as long as people are flying.  And if they stop flying there'll be more car crashes...

It's a simple fact of life that life is risky.  Stuff happens.  We'll learn what we can and move on.  It's unfortunate that people had to lose their lives.  Thankfully it's a lot less common to do so than in the past, though the methods sure have changed.  In total life expectancy is up, so that must be a good thing!

Oh, and I killed almost 200 sim-people last night when my wife called me away from the computer and the 737 I was piloting through dense fog and a bit of an altercation with the ground.  The 737 lost the argument.

My sypathy has run dry. Or I've completely numbed concerning feelings about disasters.

Sorry Woody and Doug... it's life! Besides this is the place people want to know.
Does anyone know the international statistics for plane accidents and if there was a decrease on last year? I came across some interesting figures before, but I don't know where. ::)

Has anyone else noticed that there has been at least one of us living in the locale of each of these recent accidents, Jroc lives near where those Snowbirds crashed, I live near where that Lynx crashed and Alrot lives within two hours of this latest one. I don't know if we have anyone near to where that Tornado went down, but I seem to recall someone saying something along those lines... Do you think there is a pattern? ;D

Only in the fact that you live fairly close to where aircraft operate. As aircraft are constantly flying over most places in this world of ours that's hardly surprising. ::) :P ;)
