Does anyone know if Half-Life 2 was inspired by the movie War of the Worlds? Some of the characters in the game look like something out of this movie.

ALso, the new Steven Spielberg/Tom Cruise movie trailer was just released...and it's called War of the Worlds. you can check out the awesome trailer here!

Wow the trailers are out already?  They were just in town filming for three days at the beginning of this week.  Left yesterday actually.  lol
