Can't save to Download!

I seem to have encountered a problem. Every time I go to download a file, my system automatically starts to download it into a temporary folder, Which I can't even find. In the past, my system would ask me where I want to save the folder. Maybe I accidentally unchecked the box that says, "Don't ask me this again". So as it stands, I can't really download the way I want!!  Where can I find the option to "Save as or save in which folder" like I used to?  Thanks in advance!!

I think Dave, you go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, look under the Browsing section and see if "Notify when downloads complete" is checked. If it isn't check the box.
