Hi Kevin:

We have been lucky here so far, normally have snow for 1st of November for start of hunting season.  Lots of time it snows Halloween night.

We are not talking of snow here until maybe the middle of next week.  Still lots of leaves on trees yet and there has not been any cold rain as of yet.  Actually this is a long beautiful Fall here, very picturesque.

Where abouts are you to have that much snow already and no leaves, you must have had an early, short and very cool Fall?

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Hi Kevin:

Sorry to be a bother but just noticed the trees in your pictures, the bottoms and all to the one side look very black.

Is that from the moisture that has fallen or was there a forest fire there at one time?

Just curious...Thanks :)

Thanks Kevin:

Most of the Black Forest is government owned or what we call here Crown Land is it not?

And is it true only the wealthy can afford to hunt there?

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!
I'm not ready for winter!

It snowed a little a couple days ago, but it only stuck an hour or two at the most
