ooh. Poor thing. There will be a whole host of things to trouble her in later life. I expect though there are some people in the world who are in accute pain that would long for that. My Uncle is continually in pain with his back. He has loads of tablets to stop it and they only have a measured effect.

That would be nice sometimes, but say if she had some sort of immediate medical problem and she never felt it, it could be life-threatening... :(
