'Hazards' is the plural of the word 'Hazard' which is something that is dangerous; i.e. "That nail sticking up is a real hazard" or "Flying with Ozzy in a airplane is a serious hazard to your health"  ;D

There is a common saying "to hazard a guess". Basically this means "I'm not sure but this is my best suggestion". I'm famous for hazarding guesses. Very often they turn out to be correct.
