Back on Deck with new Office!!

Postby Professor Brensec » Sat Oct 16, 2004 4:25 am

For anyone who's interested, I've finally got my new office finished and moved into. Beaaaauuuuutiful.  ;D

Looks like a MAN's Office too. Wish I had digital camera, I could publish a photie or two, but alas, I don't, so you'll just have to imagine how great it looks.  8) 8)

I'm all set up for CFS3, with my new PC and graphics card. Finally, when I get it all tweaked etc, I'll find out what all the fuss is about with CFS3. I've had it since it first came out but have never been able to use it. Just a few goes on other people's PC's.

Anyway, as I am finished most of the 'basic' work getting my business stuff going, I should be able to hang aorund here a little more. So beware........ ;D :D ;)

Great News!

While you've been gone, we've been working hard to find the evidence to discredit the P-40.

...Just kidding ;D

It's too much of a hero to too many people. It could never be discredited...... ;D ;)

If nothing else, in 1939 (prior to Spit) it was the only Fighter in the world that actually LOOKED like a fighter!!
(except maybe the 109, but it was a little too small).

It 'held the line' till the thoroughbreds were available to take the fight to the enemy.  :D

I've often wondered if they would have been a good 'Bomber killer' during BoB. They had the speed. With Spits to keep the 109's away, I think they would have done very well dropping bombers with the Hurri's. (And of course, still be a 'chance' against a 109 if worse came to worst....... :D ;))

Or am I a dreamer?????  ;)

I'm doing pretty well thanks, mate. It took long enough but I finally got there. I can relax a little at least and spend a bit more time doing some things I'd rather do.

;D ;)

It'll be good to have you back here on a regular basis Bren, I haven't had anyone to argue with on the merits of certain WWII planes and Vegemite for AGES ;D ;D ;D
