Far out !!!

Just came here from the more serious debate on "GUNS."

Talk about a shift in perceptive.....?

Anyway,  been doing a bit of babysitting lately, all the cartoons I have seen have characters like Swartzeneger on tin steroids shouting that they will "destroy the world.!!"
No wonder the poor kids can't sleep at night  --  many years ago I learned how to draw a good Donald Duck, so I guess he's still my favourite - probably declared non PC now though ?

I always liked Bugs and the Gremlin in the bomber and it stops inches from a fatal crash as they had "run out of gas" ;D

I can't belive Scooby-Doo made it up there! It is such a poorly drawn cartoon and it has canned laughter in it, canned laughter is something all TV shows that have it could do without IMO

Scooby rocks! As well as the Flintstones...

Best cartoon series ever: Family Guy!

One of the reasons (in hindsight) that I liked the old cartoons  - Walter Lantz, Warner Bros, Disney, etc) - is because they, with not too much subtlety, introduced (maintained?) the classical music alive....

Who can forget the battle between BugsBunny and the tenor while battling "Largo al Factotum" at the Hollywood Bowl? or, Wagner's "Hunt the Wabbit" sung by that Viking - E. Fudd;  not to mention the countless times we were enthralled by Strauss' waltzes, and sections of the William Tell overture....
