I have a friend who has plans to build a rocket that runs off of regular gasoline, and can get up to 5,000 feet. Of course, to even launch it, you need permission from the FAA

I always wanted to build a model rocket. I would like to use O2 and H2 as the fuel. But using liquid fuel would be a bit more complex.

As for the story...small town people that have nothing much to do.
