Where can I get satellite view of places?  Specifically, Washington DC?  I'm looking for an area around the Iwo Jima Victory Monument - Pentagon - White House.

Just search Google for webcams.  There's tons of them.

Erm, not to be snotty or sassy, but I said "satellite", or better put aerial.

Last time I used www.mapquest.com   you could pull up an aerial photograph (zoomable & moveable) of the map you're currently searching...try it  ;)

Thanks Brett, I'm slowly getting somewhere with that.  But one more thing, does anyone have a clue what the Lat/Long of the Iwo Jima Victory Monument is?

PS: Whoever can get it gets a cookie! ;D

From what I hear, you better be careful about searching for satellite shots of Washington on your P.C. or you're likey to have the FBI, CIA et al breaking your door in........lol ;D

I got this picture of downtown Toronto form Blade's suggested site. This shrunk down image doesn't do the actual image justice. Outstanding high-res quality satellite pictures.

Check out these pics.
