Give it a try Rich....
Large strong onion.
Block of Medium Cheddar Cheese.
With a very sharp kitchen knife, slice the onions and cheese very thinly, and lay them in alternate layers, heaped up, on a baking tray....
After 30 minutes at gas mark 5, the heap will melt together, and the thin onions will be very soft!
Lift it out with a flat spatula onto a pre-heated plate, (Always use a hot plate for hot meals!).
...and enjoy with some fresh crusty bread and butter, and a glass of what you fancy!
Brings joy to your heart...and remember, all members of the onion family are very good to keep your tummy in very good order...trust me!
Onions, Leeks, Garlic, etc....
