Modified C-17

Postby GripenFlyer » Sat Sep 05, 2015 1:50 pm

Two screenshots from the tv-series Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

This is obviously a heavily modified C-17 used here, but the placement of the additional horizontal stabilizers & engines at the rear makes me wonder stability & about those two rear engines sucking in dirty air from engines 2 & 3 in the front  :)

Anybody up for a discussion on this?

But C, GripenFlyer says that it was on TV.

Obviously you may be mistaken! :o

I'm sure that the Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. wouldn't fly something that was "Aerodynamically un-sound". :snooty:
