What a day!

Emi has finally mastered cycling, and I've spent most of this afternoon sprinting around a park on foot trying to keep up with her.
Then I taught the kids how to eat Chinese food with chopsticks this evening... this led to them proving to me they could help their aunty eat her chocolate sponge birthday cake with chopsticks... On a scale of 1 to 10 it was comedy gold. I ache from laughing :-) I would have filmed it, but I was laughing too hard!
Being a dad is just the best thing in the world, those two little loons of mine never fail to surprise me and normally have me in hysterics. I wouldn't be without them, life would be so dull!

Days like that is what being a parent is all about. I would not trade my two for anything. Some days my boys drive me completely mad and then the next it is a day to remember for all the right reasons...

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Being a parent can definitely have its good times but what's even more fun is being a grandparent. You can play with them, feed them a little candy and get them all spooled up and screaming around the house and then you leave and go to your nice quiet abode and take a long nap content with the fact that you just scored some REVENGE!!!

An Aircraft Mechanic only needs two tools, Duct Tape and WD40.
If it moves and it's not supposed to - use the Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and it's supposed to - use the WD40.
