It's overcast down here on the South Coast so I won't be seeing it. Typical! :(

I love the "plunge into darkness"...............People do have very short memories. For the last one I was in Germany. Where I was we got a 93% eclipses and I barely noticed a difference...........That show the power of our sun.......

Watching it with a pin hole in a sheet of paper casting the image onto another sheet of paper!

The Moon is slowly progressing across the Sun. Its getting darker and colder.

The dogs are barking, and the birds are hiding...

...and I'm getting frightened.... ...!

Paul..... :D ...!

1/2 way across at 9:00 AM.
Full eclipse estimated at 9:30 AM.

In '99 I was at Balaton (in Hungary) and experienced Totality. The drop in temperature of about 15'C was quite noticeable! Got some amazing photos of that moment. Fond memories. It's raining in London so we won't see anything, so I'll have to put up with the incessant whining in the office of those who have been deprived :-D

PHEW!

The Sun has returned again 10:10 AM!

Thank goodness!.... ....!

It did get slightly darker. A strange sensation with a full Sun high in the clear blue sky, but a dull scenery!
..and went quite cool for a while!

The Gods are smiling at us again...which is nice!

Paul..... :D ....!
