Great idea, but one small fly in the ointment.....All the buses and trucks are pushing out ten times tha amount of crap that diesel cars are doing as they have no cat of particle filters as indicated when the average bus or truck pulls away leaving a huge cloud of black smoke..............I on the other hand in my diesel can floor it from the lights and you see nothing......Not that I am saying I produce nothing, but in comparison I do produce nothing................Oh, and my 3L straight six BMW diesel engine, you will have to pry that from my cold dead fingers, the torque..........now I need a private moment with some Kleenex.....

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
