Still not seeing it ...

Last Week in San Antonio the Arctic cold caused the City to shutter for 24 hours the 1604 and 410 and 281 all main hwy's and roads due to icing and our power grid went nuts. we are bracing here Monday for arrival.

From the NOAA Aviation Digital DaTa Site:

48 hour prog chart. Others of course, lead up to it, but the snow deep in the Mexican Desters was particularly interesting to me.

Enjoy all, 50 plus with some rain here....

Just a video of a beach we sometimes go fishing to after that storm:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iups4lxOtpA

Highly unlikely anyone has ever been there so let me explain: There used to be a road there, also, that playground used to have more than a swing.
Can't imagine how much the beach has changed, it changes a lot even with normal weather. (google earth isn't accurate anymore)

That's the thing about beaches, in fact all of nature....it changes :D Out lines change from wave action, a good storm will eliminate a beach or move it a mile down the coast...rivers shift course....beaver build dams and make lakes that then fill in to become grassland then forests...it's always changing, and that's what makes it all so fascinating and amazing to me :) Humans try to keep it the same but it aint gonna happen, Nature WILL prevail! Gotta love it! :D

Great day and happy changes to all!

Trust me, not many beaches change as often as rossbeigh, one week there might be an island... Next day it might be joined to the land and a week later it might be gone completely. Or another island has formed.
