I was about to state that I was too far inland... however, Lake Winnisquam is near my abode which connects with the Winnipesaukee river (a canoe could be walked around the dams; that river's too shallow at one place and has another with very narrow-gorged, extremely rocky rapids, as well); the Winnipesaukee River empties into the Merrimack River, with its own hazzards, which heads south towards the ocean.
