New Pope and chocolate

So Pope Francis the First has been elected, my question is this, has anyone else had a simply superb bar of chocolate today? I tried a Kit-Kat mint, it was fab-u-lous!

Laying off the chocky today, I went a bit overboard yesterday. M&M's, Dime chocolate bar, a couple of mini Mars, two Balisto's and some girly chocolate I stole from my wife (the sort that is named something like "Break Time Caress" or "Whispering Calories" or such like. Always advertised with some stunning young model in clothes that cost a million or laying in a bath with a cat wandering around the place as said model makes love to the chocolate with her lips).....Back to reality, for my wife it is a cup of tea, feet on the coffee table trying to relax whist two small boys are running around the house......

I was personally hoping Cardinal Oulouette...Oluettee...Olliette...the Canadian Cardinal would get the nod, if for no reason other than the Maple Leafs will need some serious divine intervention if they're ever gonna win the Stanley Cup again... :D

Still...Pope Frankie? I'm just dying to see the old guy do a 4 Seasons impression on the balcony... ;)

My darling Sister, Esme, who resides in the affluent area of the Borough of Fulham, London, and suffers from (slightly) high cholesterol levels, frequently sends me her generous supplies of various delicious Chocolate substances/goodies, (which can be viewed at every Supermarket Check-out position), courtesy of HM Queen Elizabeth and the Royal Mail.

This arrangement keeps me very happy with loads of Chocolate and no visible signs/levels of high cholesterol , and her, (bless her cotton socks!), slightly unhappy, with no Chocolate, and acceptable levels of cholesterol... :? ...!

Excellent arrangement!... ...!

Paul..Chocoholic Extraordinaire..... :D ...!

..and I still cant figure out who this; "Pope" bloke is?.... ;) ...!

Technically, he's Pope Francis (I guess the name is out there. Here his name is Francesco). Full stop. As stated by one of his underlings (a Cardinal, I guess) soon after the nomination. A future pope taking after him will have to append a progressive numeral starting from "the second". 8-)

Over there (meaning outside Italy), said nomination may have seen a distant bother... here (I am Italian) it was something only by little short of getting a new King on his Throne, EVEN if we're a republic ever since 1947. All the main TV and radio broadcasts dropped all there was for the evening to air JUST to transmit EVERYTHING happening in S. Pietro, even if it was just a gull that chose to land on the chimney to take a crap (and I'm NOT joking... it has happened indeed and has stemmed quite the rumor)... a distant bother for you, an annoying anvil on the family jewels for us. Consider yourselves lucky. :P

A bit like when one of our royals die.......you know that TV is going to be crap for the next week at least......

...mind you...

..a little bit of; "Popery", etc, now and again reminds me that I do have a Television Receiver somewhere, and there's still not a good enough reason to find it, and switch it on...

Paul...Life without Television = Happiness...and Chocolate...!... :D ...!
