incorporate weather in flight planning

well Ive been doing this FS thing since 2002 version, and as time has gone by Ive gotten more and more into the whole experience. complexity and so on.
but one thing I havent worked out yet, is how to include weather in the flight planning. I get the part on arrival airports, for which rwy is in use, and approach minima, but en route I have no idea what so ever, anyone care to enlighten me?? links for self studies will do too
