gliders are where its at, way cheaper too lol ;)
Only the tower burns gas, the towee just glides

Dude, take it easy. ;) You should use this time to your advantage and log instructor time or something like that. Or if you really want to solo, you could try gliders like rottydaddy suggested and solo when you turn 14 .

A few years back, I knew that I really wanted to fly. Today I am 18 and saving for flight lessons. I'm just going to take it easy, but would have loved to have started at 14  ;D. I found out that FSX helps a lot because you get pretty good knowledge of how things work. But don't get to anxious.
I'm a wood and fabric kind of guy.
