I've had Saitek's pedals for some weeks now and they work fine when taxiing. But when I lift off they seem to influence the yoke which suddenly moves in & out causing the nose to dip. Has caused me to crash several times when landing. Has anyone else had this problem? I am using the Saitek default settings. Thanks.
Does the pitch change with one particular pedal or both, will an intentional pitch change move a rudder pedal and is the pitch change up, down or both?
The reason I ask about the settings is that my Saitek stuff sometimes gets confused and I'll have rudder input controlling ailerons, mix control running flaps, etc. I have to go and reset everything. I haven't had to do that for a couple or three weeks now.
The problem occurs when I have feet resting on peddles with no pressure applied. The yoke suddenly pushes forward and back. I ohoned Saitek USA for advice but incredibly, none of the tech people fly sims.
I'm not sure, but I think my default settings were off. You might dig around in there and make sure your pedals aren't assigned to pitch controls or whatnot. Seriously. Just make sure you are looking at the correct device in the pull-down menu.
