Instrument is supposedly the hardest ticket to earn. Flight sim makes short work of that, though.

I wouldn't say hardest - but it is the easiest to fail.

Posted: Wed Jul 30, 2008 4:22 pmCongrats! Don't forget to enjoy your priviledge to fly while working on my IR. Instrument flying is some of the most challenging flying you'll do, but certainly leaves you feeling the most accomplished!

Posted: Mon Aug 04, 2008 3:31 amCongrats Matt! I just started my own instrument rating, and I must say it is completely different to any flying you've done previously. I'm only just getting my head wrapped around VOR intercepts, sector entries and holding patterns.
