Congrats and good luck! The Warriors are, to abuse a term, user-friendly. Your only problem will be seeing around your grin!

Have a good flight TSC, mine was great. My instructor literally let me do everything except land!  I'm sure you'll have fun. ;D

Personally i prefer the Piper warrior. It feels more like a real plane. It has a proper throttle quadrant where the cessnas have those little console controls. Its a really good plane to fly.

Sounds cool, good luck. :D

I flew one once, and it was really interesting, the instructor turned to us (there were three of us from my aerospace class) and asked if we had ever been in zero-g.  We said no and he proceeded to jerk the yoke forward and now I can say I've been in zero-g in an airplane. ;D

But you'll have fun, it's quite different from FS and alot more fun! ;)

Even the freakin fighter pilots I've flown with hate negative Gs (zero G is cool, negative BAD!)

Something about hanging on to their lunch a bit longer...

No-one likes negative G thats why planes in general arnt built to take sustained negative G's for long.

You'll love it TSC, but beware that there are some major side effects such as:

Wanting to fly FS even more

the inability to continue carrying on conversations while hearing aircraft in vicinity

When driving and you see an aircraft, you automatically watch the aircraft and start daydreaming about flying

If you have friends, all you want to talk about is flying

Working to earn as much money as possible to afford lessons. The more you fly, the more you work, untill your life consists of work, sleep, FS, and flying

Knowing everyone who has or who works at your flight school, and knowing most pilots in the area

Judging performance of real pilots

Bragging over your X.X hours

ect...

Have fun ;D

People get mad at me at work when I do that....

When driving and you see an aircraft, you automatically watch the aircraft and start daydreaming about flying

Almost drove off the road too many times doing this....

If you have friends, all you want to talk about is flying

Yep....

Working to earn as much money as possible to afford lessons. The more you fly, the more you work, untill your life consists of work, sleep, FS, and flying

Should be homework in there, but we all know nobody does their homework....

Knowing everyone who has or who works at your flight school, and knowing most pilots in the area

They are the coolest people....

Judging performance of real pilots

Bragging over your X.X hours

Happens ::)....

Again, good luck TSC..... ;)

Once real flying gets under your skin, you'll find yourself doing all kinds of things to buy more time. I even scrubbed tar off the bellies of C150s and Cherokees to earn a little more...

Enjoy your intro!!
Remember to:
-Participate in the preflight; it's helpful to see and play with the moving parts, etc.
-Adjust your seat first- as soon as you get in
-Note what the instructor does whenever he/she has the plane
-Note how hard it is to see other traffic in the daytime without the big red letters hovering over them... ;D
-Think ahead
-Indulge in at least one big, stupid grin!!

To practice in FS, I don't know if/where you can find a Warrior, but the Cherokees (Cherokee 6 esp.) are similar.
