Charts types

Can someone explain to me how many types of charts are they?

There are so many...I don't know wich ones help me to fly...

PS:I am sure that this haz been discuse here but this is a way of making new friends too ;D

It looks like they're all approach plates; SIDS-Standard Instrument Departures, STARS-Standard Terminal Arrivals, Approaches and Airport Diagrams.

If you're just getting started, that is probably the wrong site for you.
What you'll need are either a VFR Sectional Chart or an IFR Low Altitude Enroute chart.

Ugh, charts, charts, charts... They've got 'em for everything! haha

Ditto to the above, look for VFR charts... they even have a lot of the info the IFR charts provide.
