Does anyone out there know where I can get the pilots notes for the Grob Vigilant motor glider for free (internet?)
It would be nice to know how to fly one before I go on my flying scholarship.

Conner I'm assuming you're in the ATC? In which case all the notes for the gliders should be in ACP 31 under Airmanship. Whilst this isn't the full set it should give you the groundwork you need.
Also you could try the ATC homepage (they have downloadable manuals these days) http://www.aircadets.org

No worries, sometimes even us old foggie ex-cadets like to help out our younger contemporaries ;)
Enjoy the course.

I will also be attending the gliding course this easter(with ATC). I was wondering where you downloaded the glider from? Was it for FS2004?

Well first install the thermals add-on for FS9 that is available here at http://www.simviation.com/fsgliders_10.htm
Then for a Grob you can get the 115 Tutor at http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/3d_hole with lovely paintjobs at http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props55.htm http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props56.htm and

Hmm...something we need in the US. We have the Civil Air Patrol which is great for our kids (and very useful for gaining flight time as well) but that looks very very interesting.
