ILS+AP

I'm a newbie too; i can get evrything set up on ILS except capturing glideslope; i track in on localizer with NAV set to localizer course, but when glide slope needle becomes active i punch APP but the plane never catches it-what am i doing wrong??

make sure you switch the GPS/NAV switch to NAV.

ILS set to correct NAV 1 freq.
Below GS to acquire.
APP selected.

The best way to catch an ILS is to intercept at 30
