Aircraft attitude or pitch

May have asked this before, not sure. While flying the 747 I have noticed that the nose up attitude is always around 4-5* up. I have tryed adjusting the payload and even the fuel load. Have also used real pax weights for summer and winter from my years at both Eastern and Northwest. 150 to 155 for summer and 170 to 175 for winter. Have flown the aircraft without autopilot on until reaching fl150, even up to cruise altitude and have set my trim and airspeed for level flight but as soon as i turn on the a/p it goes right to that 4/5 degree up. Is there a way to adjust this in the aircraft config file? I am at FL330 or above and at Mach .85...... <<u <<u

Static margin for most jet transports is between 5-10% according to Dan Raymer (former aircraft designer at Rockwell).

The most efficient cruise occurs at L/D max, usually this is at some small AoA.
