Back to school...

Postby Jared » Fri Aug 20, 2004 9:11 pm

As the summer winds down I'm forced to return to school once again, luckily for me though I can't wait to get back because for the first time in my college career I will be taking Aviation related classes...:-)

Aircraft structures

Hydralics / Pnuematics

Airport management

I will also have business stats as well as intro to computer programming which should be fairly easy since I've been programming computers since I was 11 years old...:-)

That's pretty cool, where do you go?  I've been taking flight classes every quarter for the last two years, it's great!  And in fact, for my Instrument Flight Lab, I finally get to take my Instrument Checkride next Tuesday!  Wohoo, finally busted out that 8710 form. lol

This quarter I'm taking Aircraft Systems II, Aviation Physology/Survival, Commercial Ground I, and Commercial Flight Lab I.  Aaahhh, and I get to start flying 3 days a week again... Mmm.. :D

And what's you're major/specialization?  I go to Central Washington University and am a Flight Tech major with Flight Officer specialization...

anyway, have fun! :)  Just 3 weeks till I go back!  Wohoo!

Well, after one week back I'm ready to be out for another few months..

I'm currently an Aviation management major at Kent State University here in Ohio, and I'm hoping to get a minor in flight tech before I'm done with school...:-)

Dude, that's awesome!  I'd love to build a plane, I love walkin' through our maintenance shop seein' all the planes' guts hangin' out. lol  There is a class in our engineering department that builds an airplane every year... if the flying didn't keep me so busy, I might just double major in Engineering.  (Plus I suck at (and hate) math, so there goes that. :P )  Anyway, sounds cool, dude.
