Couple of questions

Just now ran into this, but haven't had time to fully check it out.

Couple of easy questions here:

>What is this "mirror" thing you all have mentioned?

>Will Flightgear run on Windows XP (2003), 512 RAM, with an Intel card?  My XP is good with FS2002, good enough with FS2004, never had any problems.

>Can Flightgear be downloaded on my office computer, saved but not installed, can I then load it onto my home computer.  The office is a super fast DSL, home is still dial up, hence the question.

Thanks in advance.

Apex.

'Mirror' is the term given to a server that hosts the files for downloading.

What's the source code? Should I get all the downloads for that?

The source code is the actual programing of the sim.

You only need it, if you plan on modifying the sim.

Waste of human flesh, those... yet the message contained no clear instance of attempt to spam (that I'm able to discern, at least), and I usually do not look for signatures unless they contain specs of people who ask for computer and/or sim help, so... :-/

Not to worry, I think the latest generation spammers are getting smarter and trying to tie in a link while making a post.                    8-)
