Bad Microsoft!

Amen to that!

When Flight first came out I think everybody including me tried to be positive about Flight.

But how can you really be positive about a broken game?

I meant that it wasn't a sim.

No ATC, no AI, no planes, no scenery. It refuses to pick up the throttles on my quadrant. No point in trying my radio panel as there is no ATC. The only thing that it has doing for it, unlike FSX, you don't find any trees in the middle of runways

Yup, ya pretty much summed it up there in that statement , alright !  I mean its like this really - if your food on your plate is brought out 1/2 cooked, and it Tastes like utter S&%# , why try to convince yourself and others that its still alright to eat, as long as you over look, and can put up with the Sewer Rank and Smell & Taste, other than that its really ok, ok,, here you try it ~ !  Come On' Mikey, try it, Mikey, he'll eat anything ! You know what makes me so angry? M$ never even finished FSX properly. It was flawed from the start. I could not even come close to estimating how much I have spent upgrading PC's & replacing PC's just get it to run halfway decent. Its all I have read on forms for years now. But I persevered. I stood by M$. I knew they would come good in the end. I had faith!
What do M$ do? Do they fix it? No. They call us a "sub genre" of flight sim, turn their back on us all and then have the gall to try to get us to buy there snake oil AGAIN by calling it Flight.What happens when the last FSX disk has been sold on the shops? What then? Thank god I'm nearly 60. Hopefully I wont be around to see the death throws of Microsoft flight sim. M$ RIP

New types of sims are coming: Outerra is a pretty nice one. You should take a look. It's a all round sim with realistic physics for planes, orbital flight, cars, boats, etc.
And the scenery is breath taking too! Really! It's not finished yet, but it's very promissing:

Tried the demo and it looks good, but no flight dynamics at all.

After watching the video of the Apache flying at tree top level in the valley, I'm sold!  I've never seen a flight sim with anything that looked that good!
