If Flight tweaks the interest of young wannabe fliers it can't be all bad. As long as it isn't just a lazy way to zim around in the air and embed bad habits in their minds. Some believe that Flight will draw youth into the simulator crowd. That would be a good thing if it were true. So the lines in the sand have been drawn, now we need to try to bring the young Flight enthusiasts to our side, and keep simulation and freeware, flying.

If this were Microsoft's concept... then they woul be offereing a new REAL simulator as the "second product" that is the next sale after the first one gets someone hooked on flight simulation.  They aren't.

John, and anyone else who wants to listen, or reply..
Quite a few of us have spent money on our PCs and our addons to attempt to get the most realistic experience out of our simulators. Some young kids aren't stupid and will soon look for more immersion and more of a challenge. I think a small number of them will start surfing the net and come to our side of the hobby.  :) I hope.

Judging by the majority of posters posting here I suspect that any new posters here will hardly find it welcoming and move to another site.
