Microsoft Flight Audio Philosophy

Postby BrandonF » Thu Dec 15, 2011 5:15 pm

Microsoft has published an article written by the Flight Audio Supervisor talking about his experiences in making realistic sounds for the aircraft in Flight. There are also some in-game recordings to "show" how advanced they are making the sounds....even the brakes squeak! Click the following link for more info:

I have never heard the brakes squeak like that on any aircraft I have flown or flown in.  I think MS is trying too hard on the little things that don't matter.

Sounds like VC sounds to me. The engine/prop sound doesn't seem right for exterior sounds.
