Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

its just sad that Micro$oft always uses Hawaii as their "teaser" grounds.  They never show any other part of the world as their teasers.   Everyone gets hooked by their teaser, and then when the product finally comes out.  the "product" is NEVER anything like what they show it to be.

If someone builds a scenery (orbx for fsx) they give a teaser of what it looks like. If I am going to fork out $40 for that scenery, then it better dang well **BE** that scenery.  .. same goes for the overall product.. if i am going to drop $80-100 on something that is "advertised" to look a certain way, then I want my $80-100 worth of it looking and being what is shown, not some crap job that was just thrown together because the Marketing Group wants to release the whole project 2 months early.

Do you have any idea how much work does into making a flight simulator with quality global scenery?  ::) They know their mistakes with FSX...they are likely not going to make the same ones and post shots of what they can't deliver.

Or maybe, just maybe, its because Hawaii is scenic, making it one of the most popular vacation spots in the Western Hemisphere.

It has water, mountains, rivers and streams, forests, and sunsets on the beach. Everything needed to showcase pretty imagery.

Sorry, this is one huge... debatable statement. With all the splendid small Pacific islands (those not radioactive because of nuclear experiments, mind) from there to Korea, you sure seem biased. :-?

And even IF... what has that to do with flight [hopefully] simulation? :P

Wow, really? It had everything to do with Flight. You must have really had a terrible experience with Microsoft. If what they/the Flight team does is so bad...X-Plane exists.  :P
