Goodly morning all... ;)

Quick question:  Is Prepar 3D 1.1 any way related to the new Microsoft "Flight" that is supposed to be being developed?

http://www.prepar3d.com/

As Prepar 3D 1.1 is already on the market for anyone I believe, then am I correct in assuming that Microsoft "Flight" is a more refined product still under development?

Doug, Prepar3D is FSX, revised. MS sold it to Lockheed Martin and they are using it as a professional training sim. It has nothing to do with Flight.

It's built on Microsoft ESP, which was released in 2007, and is basicaly the FSX SDK.

It provided a licensed platform to develope pc simulation software

I think they did add a few features, like "hot" weapons and submersible "flight" using subs and RPV's.  I'm guessing that's only the tip of the iceberg, too.
