What we wish: More view control

Postby Strawberry Yogurt » Mon Apr 18, 2011 1:53 pm

Hey guys. Have you ever been flying in FSX and just have been frustrated with the views in the game? Wouldn't it be nice to have a camera that can fly around and get in some really neat angles? I know in most views you can move around by certain key combinations, but I mean something quicker and more customizable. What do you guys think?  :)
I went outside once. The graphics weren't all that great.

The "hat button" of the joystick works pretty good for that in the "Spot" or "Locked Spot" views.

But for "low and slow" (or low and fast), it would be nice for a "ground track" view, similar a cross between the "tower view" and "fly by", but with the view point set to about 6 feet off the ground, and with "user set" spacing intervals and off-sets between view points along your projected flight path.  It would be sort of an "If I were standing on the ground and was watching a plane fly over." point of view.

Actually, I miss the Active Camera fly-bys and other configurable views that Ative Camera gave for FS9 like the movement in spot view, etc .
So, yeah, I would like more view control.

Hey, if Serge did it, why not MS?
