Piaggio P-180

I recently downloaded the V3 Piaggio P-180 from here that was released this year.  Its a great plane.  I am amazed by the FDE and detail.  I have a couple of glitches I am trying to work out and wonder if anyone else has made more progress than I.

1.  TCAS--I can get the system to test okay, but not function.  I have read the README files over and don't find the FSX instructions anywhere.

2.  Engine Fires--I have turned the failures selections off and still occasionally get high oil temp, that progresses to high oil pressure, then eventually a engine fire.......very strange.  Never had this issue with any other turbo prop plane in FSX.

Would love to chat with other pilots about this plane if there are any resident experts out there.

Thanks!

Perhaps you are overtorquing the engines as you climb?

@DaveSims--Thanks for the reply.  Its strange.  I almost wonder if it occurs on startup.  I had a similar issue with the Pilatus PC-12 from AFG.  When I started it, the engines often ran at high RPM's right after starting.  It turned out I was introducing the fuel at the wrong time.  With the P-180 I have tried cranking the engine, then turning on the fuel and it doesn't seem to change the outcome.

My issue has always been with one of the two engines.  If I was overtorquing I would assume both engines would have issue......I don't know.

I will keep testing and flying and report back if I find any changes.

Thanks!

When are you introducing fuel during start?  Depending on the engine, you usually introduce fuel at 10-20% N1 or some other reference.
