FSX Texture scroll

Since I bought FSX, I noticed that as the aircraft rotated (such as in preview mode), the textures seem to "scroll back" and reveal more detail every 15 degrees of rotation or so. I'm looking for a way to solve this without giving up and downloading POSKY repaints for all the blurred textures.

I never use it. It kills frames.

I'm not sure, but it sounds like you're saying the more distant parts of the aircraft looks blurry.  If that is what's happening, then the testures are "mip maped".  The only way I know of to cure that is to use (I'm beginning to sound like an advertisement) DXTBmp, open the textures for fusalege, wings, all the external textures, and make sure the "Mip Maps" boxes" on the right are un-checked, then save the bmp.  If "getting blurry" is the problem, that sud cure it.

Thanks. It works great. I can now fly cathay pacific without feeling guilty.
