I downloaded "EuroAtlantic Lockheed L-1011 Package" last night, as well as a few other miscellaneous Aircraft and some of them had things like this happening. Why is this happening? I loaded them correctly....

Apparently I cant post the picture...anyhow the picture of the aircraft when selected, and if I play with it, it only shows the windows?  Its like an invisible aircraft?

My dad had that problem when I would send him some planes to download. He has Windows 7 and FSX. I went through and updated his copy of FSX and checked to make sure he had up to date drivers on his graphic card and things like that, it ended up that I had to download FSX Acceleration for him, and it all workrd out.

Go to your "settings" page, select "customize', and in the "Graphics" page make sure "Preview DirectX 10" is unchecked.

Now that would be a lot easier. My FSX does not have that option.

That means you must have a DirectX 9 graphics card. Is that correct?

You made me go through the boxes stacked up in the corner because I did not know. Still don't know. Probably not, it is an old AGP NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT 512mb.

Make me wonder if I missed it on my Dads computer. His should have direct x10.

I think you need to install the SP1 & SP2 official updates. http://www.microsoft.com/Products/Games/FSInsider/downloads/Pages/default.aspx
