Evening all... :)

I downloaded this free flight planner called G3V3.
It shows up on your screen as a yellow airplane.

Now I have it working and it has all FSX data downloaded.

-Started REX2 Essentials
-Set FSWC Flight Simulator Water Configurator
-Set up Flight Plan in FSX
-On G3V3 the map and route showed up
-I moved this to my second monitor and started FSX
-It disappeared on my second monitor when I began to fly
-I could bring it back by minimizing the screen view but I
want it to show all the time on the second monitor and
act very much like a GPS but with a few more features

Not sure how to do that.

Any help would be most appreciated... ;)

Thanks Paul... ;)

What I do not understand is if it shows on my second monitor with the FSX Flight Plan then why does it disappear
from the second monitor when I start the flight?

The GPS or Auto Pilot Controls will stay on the second monitor when in flight.

If you don't have any luck here, Doug...try the same question on the Plan-G Forum...Tim Arnot will probably help out..especially with the new Version 3, which is still being sorted out, with one or two problems... ;)...!

Paul.... :)...!

P.S have you tried having Plan-G running on your Main (first) Monitor, and the Flight Sim on the 2nd Monitor?
P.P.S...do you have Plan-G Icon showing in your Task Bar, ready to click on, when you need it?

..and a final suggestion: Install version 2.05 (for FSX and FS 2004) and see if that cures any of your problems.... ;)...!

Hi Paul... :)

Can't find a Link that will work to download Plan G V2.05?

It would seem several others are asking this same question on where to get that Download Link from.

Perhaps discontinued?

Now there's a surprise!.... ;)...!

Maybe the designer is getting so annoyed at Folks preferring the previous 2.05 version that he is stopping access to it, and forcing users to use Version 3.0 only...!

Previously, the link worked for me!

I have both versions installed, and choose which version to use!

Paul...Plan-G v 2.05 and 3.0... :)...!
