Texture Problem !

I am having problem's with the land texture's in certain area's when flying. the texture's will just simply go flat. sometimes when I turn the plain in another direction they will come back momentarily but, then fade out again. Does anyone know what is causing this problem and how to fix it...

1st thoughts - graphics card/ processor/ ram. Is yopur PC making noises while this is going on? Poor thing is probably trying to generate the image ..

Can you give some more info like your PC specs (mainly graphics card, ram, processor.)

If the  'certain areas' are extreme high detail addon packages  - that again will most likely be down to your PC ...
