AreaS4-and-51-photo-scenery.zip Help Please

I downloaded and tried installing the subject file by Jim Abbey. He left no e-mail address for any help. There is no S4 folder as says. There is only a Scenery and Texture folder. He says to put the S4 folder in Addon Scenery and activate it. If I install it as the installer does it puts all of the Scenery and Texture  files in the Addon Scenery folder. How do I activate it? My Addon Scenery folder is already activated. Are there AFCAD's for the airports? How can I find the airports in FSX. I tried Area 51 and got the stock version. I tried S4 and it did not show up. I'd sure like this scenery and any help that anyone can provide surely would be appreciated. Bob.

Hello' Bob,, you didn't mention what Version of Flight Simulator you have ???  FSX / FSX GOLD with Acceleration, or FS 2004, which is the same as FS9.  I'll Assume you have FSX of 1 of the editions . Also ~ if your able to watch YOU TUBE Videos, if you search for " How to Add Scenery into FSX " in the main search of YOU TUBE ----- you'll end up watching Bill Womacks Video,,, Worth Watching !  The Videos will play better if you Watch Directly thru the YOU TUBE site rather than a linked site tho, not so much playing issues sometimes .  How to Add Scenery in FSX Video -----}

Bob,

Ya, the 'read me.txt' is botched. The package as a whole is some what bloated as it includes many files from other scenery packages and unnecessary 'project' files.

If you pointed the installer at your ...\\Addon Scenery\ folder the scenery should be active, as files would be placed in the appropriate...\Addon Scenery\scenery\ and \texture\ folders. If you pointed it at a temp. folder you just have to package it up as a normal scenery addon and activate it. Hopefully, you didn't point it at your main ...\\ folder as that would create a mess...placing the files in the FSX main Scenery and Texture folders.

Bob, is S4 showing up for you, and/or do you see the photoreal terrain around A51?

Hi Dave. I can open the LFSD, TGR1, and S4 AFCADS with AFX. He sure added some extra stuff without saying anything about it. LFSD is in France and TRG1 is in San Diego! When I open the S4 AFCAD there is no parking. None of them show up in FSX scenery manager. The Area 51 is the stock one not any new photoreal scenery. My Addon Scenery folder is listed and active. What can be wrong? I just placed all the scenery and texture files into the Addon Scenery scenery and texture folders. Thanks, regards, Bob.
