Hi Ramprat,
I made a folder in "My Documents" called FSX. That's where all my FSX downloads go.
Now, you need Winzip (free) 7zip to open a zipped file.
Once you open it you could have one or more folders.
Lets make it simple.
You have downloaded a Boeing 737-800 and it went to your FSX folder that you created.
You open it and find 2 folders inside. One is Effects and the other is Simobjects.
Open the Effects folder and copy and paste those items into the "Effects" folder found in the FSX main folder.
Open the "SimObjects" and do the same. Copy and paste the 747-800 into the FSX main folder.
Look for this.
C:\program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Simobjects\Airplanes.
I'm not going to talk you into joining a VA, but you might consider joining Deer Valley Flying Club.
Download Teamspeak.
With Teamspeak you will find any member from DVFC will walk you through, step by step on how to install aircraft, textures, scenery and more so that you can fully enjoy FSX. And it's all free.
