Turning off default callouts

I just got this great freeware program from these guys

http://www.projectmagenta.com/ called pmSounds. I love it! Just turn it on in the background and fire up FSX and from what i've seen on my sim so far,any commercial plane I have without "noise" has em now. It's awesome. It calls out speeds on take off,flaps,bankangle,different AP sounds,GPWs,if you don't want it it isn't there. You can also uncheck sounds you don't want to hear to customize your experience.

Anyway my problem is the default "don't sink" and "pull up" FSX sounds are still on and sometimes clash with my new program. Anyway is there a way to turn em off or do I have to root around in the sound file and delete (and or back up and move) them?

Mike,

In the aircraft.cfg file find the [GPWS] section. Edit the values to these.....

[GPWS]
max_warning_height =0
sink_rate_fpm =-9999
excessive_sink_rate_fpm =-9999
climbout_sink_rate_fpm =-9999
flap_and_gear_sink_rate_fpm=-9999

Simply removing the section will not eliminate the callouts as FSX automatically applies the default GPWS to jet aircraft. Thus, if you get the default callouts in an aircraft that does not have the [GPWS] section you have to add it to eliminate the callouts.

Alternately, you can assign a key sequence or button to 'GPWS (toggle)' in the Controls settings.
