Ok, I admit I'm just coming back into it, but here's something I don't ever remember

You have aircraft installed that do not have thumbnails in their texture folders.
This happens with Windows7.....just look through your add on aircraft/s and find the ones that don't have thumbnails. Then all you have to do is take a screenshot of the aircraft, size it way down, rename it "thumbnail" and stick it in the aircraft's texture folder. It will then display correctly in the selection menu.
