Cold starting on FSX??

Postby dans » Fri Feb 03, 2012 11:24 am

I like Fsx but the one thing have never liked was the engines running and the brakes off when starting a flight. I am tired of running into buildings.and having to baby sit the e brakes. I would like to know how to start all of my flights with the engines off and brakes on.Can anyone help that has gone through this same issue?? :D

Create or load up a flight with aircraft, airport, weather of your choice. Once you're in the aircraft set any aircraft conditions you like...engines and systems off, parking brake set, etc.

Save the flight, but..... In the save flight window, put a check mark in the box next to 'Make this the default flight' before clicking OK to save.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
