What is Typerole=Legacy?

In the "Change Aircraft" dialogue box of FSX Free Flight, you can open the right hand drop menu for different aircraft types. In that, one of my planes (a CRJ-700 add-on) is labelled as "Legacy". The line "ui_typerole" in the Aircraft.cfg file of that aircraft does indeed read "Commercial Airliner", but whatever I put there won't make a difference. I have a feeling that FSX means that this is an aircraft fetched from FS9 (which it isn't). Anyone know how to make FSX sort it as a Commercial Airliner?

Why do you want it sort out as commercial airliner? It won't affect the way you fly it... That's one of those little details that don't mean anything but people pick on them all the time..

It makes sense to sort the aircraft. If you have some hundreds, you will know why.
About finding out what's wrong, compare with another aircraft file, not legacy, to find the difference. I use notepad++, where I can put one file into 2nd window and scroll together.

Thanks Blaunarwal for a constructive reply. Unfortunately the file is identical to all the others, i.e. when placed side by side with the default CRJ all the lines match (apart of course for textures, regs etc.). FSX must be able to read something between the lines.
Still confused at the same level...

Is there a space in between "ui_typerole" and "Commercial Airliner"?
Also, which CRJ is this?

I usually press the key with the first letter of the airplane's name. If it isn't enough I just go to manufacturer. It's not like you're going to have hundreds of the same plane... Or is it?

FoxThree, you made me look closer and find the fault. There was an extra quotation mark before "Commercial Airliner". I guess that that made FS skip the line and therefore insert that spurious "Legacy" instead.
The aircraft is the Project OpenSky CRJ701ER.
Many thanks!

As it happens,
you can put
anything you want in the various ui_xxx fields and it will show up in the dropdown sort filters.
I've highly customized my list filters to suit myself...
