g'day again
i always face problems while installing Thomas Ruth's aforementioned models..can anyone share some infoz one that??
i always followed the required steps which comes out with the zip folder yet it never works or even if it comes in the start up screen all i can see is the nose and the wings i will try attaching a screenshot the next time...any help appreciated thnx

You need to install service pack 2 for fsx for the option I think. If you only have service pack 1 the dx10 preview option is on but there is no setting to turn it off.
You most likely have bought FSX gold edition? That comes with sp1. If you also have acceleration expansion then that comes with sp2 automatically

well ArcticFox mine is FSX Deluxe but i dont know what service pack it is

To find out which version you have run FSX & click Help/About on the in-flight menu bar.
Alternatively: right-click on fsx.exe & select Properties/Version

These are the version numbers.

RTM: 10.0.60905
SP1: 10.0.61355 (Russian: 10.0.61357)
SP2: 10.0.61472
XPack (Acceleration): 10.0.61637
