i decided to do a repair in order for the the fsx gamepack to apear,well,that didn't work.
i decided to do a bit of flying that evening.
fsx didn't even start.
it shows the loading screen but when the menu starts it shows the 'windows has encountered a fatal error.' message.
i had this problem before after a repair but i forgot how to fix it.
do i need to reinstall fsx?

Yes, yes you do. FSX has nothing to do with the SDK. You can have the sdk without having FSX installed.

i only need to do some tweaks etc and install hde clouds and then i am back. 8-)
